Master AI Directory

Effective date: July 29, 2026

Master AI Directory (“we,” “us,” “the Site”), a Sagentica product, operates the hub at masteraidirectory.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). The Site is designed to require as little personal data as possible.

1. Information we collect

  • No account required. Browsing the directory hub does not require you to create an account or provide personal information.
  • Usage & device data. Like most websites, our hosting provider and first-party analytics automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Information you volunteer. If you submit the featured-listing enquiry form or email us, we receive what you choose to provide — your name, email address, the tool or company you are asking about, and your message.
  • Cookies. The Site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Our CDN may set a strictly necessary cookie for security and routing.

2. How we use it

  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site and the directories it links to.
  • To measure traffic and understand which directories are useful (first-party analytics).
  • To respond to featured-listing enquiries and other messages you send us.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to prevent abuse and fraud.

Our legal bases under GDPR are legitimate interests (running and improving the Site, security, basic measurement), consent where required, and legal obligation where applicable.

3. Enquiry handling

The featured-listing form posts your submission to a Sagentica-operated endpoint on our own infrastructure, which records it and forwards it to us by email so we can reply. It is used only to answer your enquiry and to administer a listing if you buy one. We do not add you to a marketing list from that form alone.

4. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share limited data only with the infrastructure providers that host, deliver, or protect the Site (CDN, DNS, hosting, and the transactional email service that delivers your enquiry to us), and with authorities where legally required.

Every directory and vendor site we link to is a separate destination that operates under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. Links open in a new tab.

5. Data retention

Technical and usage logs are kept only as long as needed for security and analytics, then deleted or aggregated. Enquiries are kept as long as needed to handle your request and to keep a record of any listing you purchase.

6. Your GDPR rights (EU/UK)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Your CCPA/CPRA rights (California)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

8. How to exercise your rights

Send your request through the enquiry form on our home page. Tell us which right you are exercising and how to reach you, and we will verify it and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard it.

10. Children

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

The Site is operated from the United States. By using it you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries whose data protection laws differ from those in your own.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by a notice on the Site.
